A complete range of pickups inspired by times that matter in the electric guitar story

P&Pickups, it's some scatter-winding pickups handmade in my little workshop of the north of France. I use tradtional components coming for a major part from the USA. These pickups are winding with vintage wires like Heavy Formvar or Plain Enamel. The magnets are selected and magnetized by myself.

Chicago Club P-90 (available in Dog ear, Soap bar and Humbucker formats)

The P90 « Chicago club » I wired myself is a true bluesy pickup from the 50’s. The output level is lower compare to the « Black Dog » P90. It allows you to get more possibility in clean and crunch sounds.

The attack is more delicate. The sound is overall brighter. Basses and mediums frequencies are tighter. It’s the perfect pickup to play blues or jazz music.

Thanks to the scatter winding, it has an exceptional definition.

This pickup is build with MWS Plain Enamel wire (Lollar, Bare Knuckle…) and Alnico 2 magnets.
Bridge and Neck pickups are out of phase for hum-cancelling.
They are available in dog ear, soap bar or Humbucker format, cream color or black.
They are recommended for jazz, blues, country, funk, classic rock, indie...
